Monday recap.

The first full day of camp. I really shouldn't recap these things after our service because it skews everything I would say.

It has been amazing how God has been working all things together. (Shocking.) :) The skit the students performed, the Quiet Time Journal, Tom's talks- they are so in sync that it wouldn't be possible to plan it all on purpose- it must be God. And we are loving it.

If you saw the live feed tonight, then you saw that we had about fifteen students respond to Tom's invitation to follow Christ. It was an amazing experience and we all feel quite privileged to even be a part of this ministry. We eagerly anticipate and are very prayerful about what God is up to here!

The entire day was a blast- the games were a HIT- Marie Claire and Kurt were rockstars as the hosts. A new element we added this year was leisure impact groups- giving them the choices of woodworking, arts & crafts, worship, or sports (drama will also be an option later in the week). The students seemed to really enjoy having this added activity. Our evening activity was a theme dance- Pirates/Ninjas/Zoo Animals. The kids (and the team) seriously turned out in some awesome outfits. Everyone is already asleep or I would ask for some pictures. We'll get some up for you soon.

For now, I offer you one. That could be somewhat disturbing. But you need to appreciate what our team members will sacrifice for a good joke and team dedication.
No 23 year old boy should wear footy pajamas. Except as a team leader in another country. Then it's okay. Apparently.

Thank you for your continued prayers. We are definitely feeling them. Our cook and dear friend Harry had what we consider a prophetic dream about this week. The gist of it is that God told Him that if we step out and take the land, the enemy has already been defeated and the battle is won. Pray for us, as we take these steps. May this week be a powerful turning point in many lives and in the youth culture of Scotland.

We are praying for one specific physical healing. Please join us in asking God to show His healing power.

We are also praying specifically for LIFE changes to be made this week, not just camp choices. Please also pray for that.

With only a bit of camp gone by, we are close to the point where we usually begin to feel fatigued- the students love to stay up late, so that allows us the joy of staying up late as well. The schedule is full and hectic. But we really want to be energized and full of life for these students.

As always, pray for PROTECTION and GOOD WEATHER. And working water. We take nothing for granted anymore. :)

We have seen God bring salvation. We are asking for healing and strength.

The salvations reaped tonight were sown in prayer by you. May you know the depth of that truth and may you experience many blessings in return for your commitment to this outreach.

It's 12:24am and I have wake-up call at 6:30am. If I'm to look and act even a smidge like Jesus, I'm going to need some sleep.

With sincerest thanks,
Annie

I know you don't have a lot of time...but if you get a chance is there anyway to cut and paste a list of the camper's names into one of your entries?
Thanks for your great recaps! Glad it is going so well...and there is only more and bigger things to come!
