HERE WE GO!

We're ready.

All the tubs are repacked. All the suitcases are repacked. And in about an hour we head to camp. The student will begin arriving at 3pm (which is about 10am your time). We are so excited. We got together last night with the pastor, his family, and the rest of the Scottish counselors and had a really great time of prayer and worship. It's amazing how spiritually prepared we feel.

Praise the Lord that we got to take showers last night at the YWAM base down the street! Of course, after mopping up the shower overflow for about 20 minutes, we realized that apparently it's either feast of famine when it comes to water!! :) We had no idea we'd be so excited to go to camp to shower! We were begging to come back here last year and now we are begging to leave!! :)

Pray for us today- for a supernatural ability to remember the students' names, for the Holy Spirit to make us all winsome to the Scottish kids. For Tom Fraley tonight as he speaks and for our worship team as they lead. Pray that all the campers would leave any dangerous or hazardous materials at home, that they would come with an open heart and open mind. Pray that we would see multiple opportunities to share and to speak prophetic words over the students (and adults!).

I will update you as much as possible. Continue to pray and ask God for specific things for the person you agreed to pray for.

We feel your prayers and depend on them. Thank you so much.

With much excitement and thanks,
Annie

During worship in the states this morning we were singing and I kept getting a vision of the team not seeing the campers as they come in today but as they could be on Friday. I have felt the need to really press in on the fact that real change can occur in the hearts of the campers.
Oh precious Jesus;
Today, help the team see all the campers through Your eyes. Don't let them focus on any of the exteriors. Don't let them focused on any heart that may be closed. Help them see possibility, hope for transformaton, and lives that can be changed. Remind them all that You have seen us that way. Jesus, help them to love the way You love. Love through them and if necessary, in spite of them (although I cannot imagine that would be necessary!). Lord, give them dreams and visions for what Your love can do for the campers. Give them hope to see into eternity with these campers at their side. As Kevin spoke last week on the Friday night service, let them give breath to any embers they see and pour into the campers with an overdose of YOU!. We praise you Jesus for we will hear testimony of on Friday! JLC
