All the campers arrived and there was MUCH excitement to see old friends from last year and meet new ones. It was like we had never been apart. It was such a joy. Justin Boggs' #1 fan arrived, threw down his stuff, and said, "WHERE'S JUSTIN?!?". Oh Graeme, you are a loyal friend, aren't you? :) We love to watch them- it's hilarious. And super sweet.
Our first service was great- Tom Fraley talked about John 10:10 and the students were really blessed by his words. The worship band was excellent.
We are unable to "live feed" the service- of course the one room that doesn't have wireless is our worship room. But we are going to video and then upload the services on this CAMP VIDEO SITE so you can watch them starting tomorrow (at some point).
As a second year Scotland camp person (how would I even shorten that title?), I could not be happier. Things are running so smoothly and the team is doing an amazing job. We did the best we could last year with only 12 people and zero idea what to expect. But this year, with 24 people and experience under our belts, this camp is already such high quality.
I'm doing such a poor job explaining how well things are going so far, but just trust that it is far exceeding our expectations in the first SIX HOURS.
Please continue to pray for us. Tomorrow begins our first full day of ministry with the students. Our team is so excited and ready to bless these students. Pray for divine appointments, words of encouragements, and protection. We want to Lord to MOVE and CHANGE and LOVE ON these students.
I'm the only one left to shower and being that I have had syrup and egg and flour in my hair for the last two hours (thank you, obstacle course), I'm going to get cleaned up.
We will do the best we can to upload some pics and other things tomorrow. We love you and are so grateful for your prayers. Please continue to hold us up. we depend on it.
Sincerely,
Annie
